Our community and youth ministry seeks to serve the low income, homeless that have not come into our shelter, and families who have left the shelter.
We seek to minister to this population through various outreach events such as our Family Christmas Party and gift giveaway, our community Easter Egg Hunt and Camp Rescue, our summer day camp.
For families who leave the mission, our goal is to continue ministering to them through after care. We desire to follow up with families and ensure they are continuing in their personal and spiritual growth. Through our community activities we hope to maintain connections with our families, and continue to encourage them. We also attempt to connect families with various ministries out in the community that can continue to minister to them.
We believe that if we can reach people earlier in their crisis and walk with them as they ease back into independent living then we can help them overcome the cycle of homelessness more efficiently.
